Production Description

ERNiCrMo-4 (UNS N10276)

C-276 alloy Welding Wire is used for welding Hastelloy C276, nickel-based alloys and dissimilar materials, nickel alloys and steel or stainless steel, and also for cladding nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy composite layers on steel. The alloy is resistant to corrosion by various acids and acid vapors. Due to its high molybdenum content, it has strong resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting and crevice corrosion. It is widely used in chemical container pipelines, pumps and valves, flue gas desulfurization in the power industry, and welding of 9% Ni steel for -196℃ applications.



Composition and characteristics


The main components of ERNiCrMo-4 welding wire include:


Nickel (Ni): Nickel is one of the main components of this welding wire, providing good corrosion resistance and high temperature performance.


Chromium (Cr): The addition of chromium can improve the corrosion resistance of welded parts, especially for high temperature corrosion resistance.


Molybdenum (Mo): The addition of molybdenum can increase the strength and corrosion resistance of welds.


Other alloying elements: such as titanium (Ti), iron (Fe), etc., are used to adjust the properties and structure of the alloy.

Preparation process


The preparation process of ERNiCrMo-4 welding wire usually includes the following steps:


Raw material preparation: Select high-quality metal raw materials to ensure that their chemical composition and physical properties meet the requirements.


Alloy smelting: Put the raw materials into the arc melting furnace for smelting, control the smelting temperature and atmosphere, and ensure that the alloy composition is uniform.
