Copper Welding Wire
Product Details
Silver-Copper-Phos brazing alloy can reduce themelting points,it can improve both the alloys' plasticity andwettability,as well as the alloys' strength and toughness.
Phos-Copper Silver Brazing Alloys are specialized filler materials used in brazing processes to join metals, particularly those involving copper and its alloys. These alloys combine silver, copper, and phosphorus to achieve enhanced flow characteristics, wetting properties, and joint strength. They are prized for their ability to create strong, reliable, and corrosion-resistant joints in various industrial applications.
Lower Melting Range: Phos-Copper Silver Brazing Alloys typically have a melting range between 780°C to 900°C (1436°F to 1652°F), depending on the specific composition. This relatively low melting range allows for joining without significantly affecting the base metals' properties.
Excellent Flow and Wetting: The presence of phosphorus enhances the alloy's ability to flow smoothly and wet the base metals, ensuring complete joint coverage and minimizing voids.
High Strength and Ductility: These alloys provide strong and ductile joints capable of withstanding mechanical stresses and thermal cycling.
Corrosion Resistance: The combination of silver and copper offers excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidation, making these alloys suitable for harsh environments.
Good Thermal and Electrical Conductivity: Ideal for applications requiring efficient heat dissipation or electrical conduction.
